The "Harbin Daily "reported that the big project of "863" electronic vehicle which undertook by Harbin Institute Technology passed through by the national expert panel. All the experts putted highly on this project, especially the six patents. Harbin Institute has the independent intellectual property rights on the electronic engine and having innovative characteristics technically.

Both the research items of "Hybrid Electronic Bus and the Control System of Jiefang" which undertook by Professor Cui Shumei and the "Hybrid Electronic and the Control System of Hongqi" which undertook by Professor Wang Fuping are the important parts of "Electronic Automobile". The experts indicated that this research of hybrid automobile will economize half fuel.

The cost of the hybrid automobile is relatively high, but the common expense reduce by 1/3 than the ordinary automobile and guarantee the zero polluted. This vehicle can sent the warning on the risk conditions, also the driver can control the body situation at any time.

It is reported, Harbin Municipal will apply this technology to the super electric bus, it is hopeful to put into production before 2008.
