Siemens VDO Automotive Wuhu Co Ltd, a leading auto gauge producer in China, plans to increase its sales to about 2 billion yuan (US$241.5 million) by 2009 from 820 million yuan (US$99 million) this year, according to Kan Lei, CEO of the company.
Kan said the company, which now could produce gauges for almost all automobiles in China, aims to increase its employees in China to 850 in five years from 450 this year.

The company plans to become the best and largest auto gauge producer in China as well as in the Asia-Pacific Region.
