In
response to the official invitation of the Ministry of Communications of Thailand,
Mr. Liankuan Xu, the president of the Zonda group, visited Thailand in recent
days for a 4-day business investigation. This investigation was the return visit
following the visit of the Thailand government investigation group last month,
with the purpose of accelerating and promoting the cooperation in progress of
both parties and achieving accomplishments as soon as possible. This investigation
was accompanied by the principal of the International Department of Zonda Auto. Accompanied
by the local officials, President Xu visited many local enterprises including
the General Passenger Transportation Company of the Department of Communications,
Thailand, the General Public Transit Company, the Benz Assembly Plant, and the
Bus Repair Factory that being the prevalent factory in Thailand and conducted
prominent negotiation on the joint founding of 2,000 buses at the CKD assembly
plant in Thailand and to achieve a common understanding. President Liankuan Xu
said that this field investigation has witnessed the future potential in the bus
market in Thailand and fixed the Zonda Auto's resolution to fully exploit the
Thai market. During
the this visit, the CEO of the General Passenger Transportation Company of Department
of Communications of Thailand, emphasized that at present there weremore than
10,000 buses which have entered a period of replacement. During the visit of the
industrial zone of Zonda Auto in China last month, the quality, modeling design,
production techniques and high price-performance ratio of Zonda buses really impressed
the Thai visiting group. Zonda Auto's entry into the Thai market at this time
would definitely become another highlight of Thailand road transportation. He
sincerely expected that Zonda Auto's entry would contribute to the development
of Thai road transportation through various types of cooperation. In
recent years, bearing the "Building China Classic Buses" as its own
task and insisting on the basis of good faith, Zonda Auto has established a brand
meaning "For Love of traveling you need to take a Broad View of the World"
and achieved great success along the way to globalization. This visit to Thailand
made certain that Zonda Auto has made a breakthrough in trying to take the Thai
