Yaxing
new electric buses launched on November 5th, 2007 after successfully inventing
CNG and hybrid vegetable fuel buses. It is the first batch of Yaxing to manufacture
electric buses. Four electric buses will be transported to Qatar recently and
used for inner city transportation and tourism. According to a report from Yaxing
said, the project of electric buses can effectively promote the national policy
of "Energy-saving, emission-reducing". Yaxing
electric buses have excellent performance. The total length is 10.5m with 32 seats
and the standard passenger capacity reaches 70. The maximum speed reaches 90km/h.
There are more than 600 effective capacitances in the storage battery to provide
a strong and steady-going electric power for the running bus. It can continually
run 400 kilometers for a charge.
