Wuhan, capital of China's central Hubei province, seems to be the first Chinese city which owns the largest scaled electric vehicles.
In recent years, Wuhan firstly launched the commercial operation of electric vehicles and has the largest scaled electric vehicles the largest number of passengers.
According to statistics, Wuhan firstly realized commercial operation of electric vehicles in July, 2003. So far, Wuhan has put off 292 units electric vehicles, in which 50 units are fuel-electric hybrid buses and has run more than 10 million kilometers.
