Relevant experts expressed China large and medium coach market is likely to keep a robust increase momentum in 2008 due to rapid growth of tourism coach market and steady growth of coach export.
Relying on good brand image and advanced technical strength, China's leading bus brand Yutong has been highly appreciated and predicted to remain steady growth.
In 2007, China large and medium Bus & Coach market developed rapidly. Yutong had respectively sold 10,514 units large coaches and 12,034 units medium coaches in 2007, up 43.8% and 21.6% year-on-year. In addition, Yutong has totally sold 24,200 units coaches, up 40.85% year-on-year, 3,319 units of which had been exported to overseas.
In 2008, Yutong's big orders with Cuba and Russia will ensure that the export volume will be basically more than 3,000 units. After finished electrophoresis art and chassis alteration, Yutong will enhance its international competitiveness. It is estimated that 5,500 units of Yutong coaches will be exported to overseas market in 2008, up 60% year-on-year.
