Foton AUV as a new pursuer in China bus and coach industry is being considered as a potential and competitive enterprise by industrial insiders.
The main reason are because its strong background of Foton and itself rapid development in recent years.
At 2007, Foton AUV had bus and coach produce and sale volume over 2000 units, including 500 exported.
At the beginning of 2008, Beijing started to implement national IV emission standard, and in other cities national III emission standard was carried out. But Liu Yuqiang, deputy general manager of Foton AUV is confident about the government policy, because Foton AUV has already prepared for such an emission standard adjustment.
There are two advantages of Foton AUV, one is its hybrid power and environmental protection and energy saving technology and the other is its self developed full-load technology which is different from other bus and coach enterprises.
