The new hybrid city bus, jointly developed by U.S. Eaton Corporation and Beiqi Foton Motor Corporation, finished field test in major Chinese cities and runs during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and 2010 Shanghai World Expo. Foton wants to win as many new orders as possible for the clean bus competition in two events.
Foton, shortened for the Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd., was founded on August 28, 1996.
