In order to facilitate citizen's outgoing, Haikou, China's Hainai province, is set to open short-distance public transport lines. By then, the first batch of short-distant public transport bus is expected to put into operation in this June.

According to Haikou Municipal Bureau, building suburb public transport network will be the first priority of Haikou government. After careful inspection, Haikou Public Transport Company finally selected Hengtong 5 meter-long mini bus. Being expert for public transport solution, Hengtong mini-bus has been put into operation in many Chinese cities such as Tianjin, Kunming, Yanzhou, Liaocheng etc., and has been recognized by local residents. Thereafter both Haikou Public Transport Company and Hengtong reached an agreement in which Hengtong received the order of first batch of 32 units mini-bus.
According to introduction, this batch of Hengtong mini-bus will adopt gasoline and natural gas bi-fuel which promotes the philosophy of environmental protection.
