China Transpo 2008, organized by the Ministry of Communications (MOC), and managed by China Academy of Transportation Sciences (CATS) and CCPIT Beijing Sub-council will be held on April 24-26 2008 in Beijing Exhibition Center, with the estimated total area of 40 thousands sqm. CHINA TRANSPO is the only International Event organized by MOC. After seven successful sessions ever since 1992, China Transpo has gone from strength to strength, and become the largest international show for transportation in China. China Transpo 2008 offers a prominent platform for the traffic and transport industry. The event will take place in conjunction with the Intertraffic China 2008 (International trade fair for infrastructure, traffic management, safety and parking).

The Forum on the Development of China’s Transportation
The Forum aims to be a policy dialogue platform for transportation development and thus to promote the discussion on new concepts, technologies, and solutions.
Theme: For An Innovative Industry and Sustainable Development of Transportation
Three Levels:
Summit Forum, A.M. Sept 27: Lectures by high-rank officials and well-known specialists;
Forum of Directors-General, F.M. Sept 27: Discussion among Directors General from MOC and provincial department of transportation;
Specialized Session, Sept 28: chaired by related departments of MOC, open for discussions on various issues concerning transport development
Transportation Achievement Pavilion
The year 2006 marks the end of China’s “Tenth Year Plan” and the beginning of the “Eleventh Year Plan”. The organizer will arrange a pavilion dedicated to the great achievements made in transportation in last five years and the development prospects in the future. This is where exhibitors and visitors can get most useful information in transportation market to promote their commercial and academic cooperation.
