Fuyao Industry Group Co., Ltd, based in Fuqing, Fujian Province, has become the fifth-largest maker of vehicle glass in the world. It will open an overseas manufacturing base in the next three to five years. The new plant will further expand its business growth in the overseas market.

According the statistics from Fuyao, overseas markets contributed almost 35 percent of its sales and overseas original equipment manufacturer (OEM) business grew by 152 percent, its markets cover United States, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Russia and Europe.

Currently, Fuyao is an OEM supplier to well-known auto brands in China and holds market share of more than 50 percent.
