At the Busworld Asia 2007, Xiamen King Long’s Longway XMQ6129Y had been awarded BAAV 2007 "Coach of the Year" by an European professional jury relying on its outstanding strength. On March 16, 2008, King Long Longway had passed large-scale third grade appraisal by Ministry of communication.
King Long’s Longway XMQ6129Y, a high-grade luxurious coach targeting high-end passenger transportation and tourism markets, represents the culmination of the year-long strenuous independent innovative efforts of King Long’s design team. Its design reflects King Long’s integrated innovative capabilities and incorporates multiple patents awarded by national authorities in recognition of King Long’s proprietary intellectual property rights.
The design of the coach incorporates adequate considerations for all major performance indicators, including coziness, safety, economy, environmental friendliness, maneuverability, and aesthetics.
Since put into market in the second half of 2007, KING LONG Longway XMQ6129Y's total sales volume has exceeded 300 units which shows the coach's great competitive strength. Customers such as Beiqi Group, Beijing Public Transport Holdings and China CYTS Tours Holding CO., LTD ordered King Long Longway XMQ6129Y to substitute their old-dated coaches. Moreover, King Long Longway XMQ6129Y has been exported to Ukraine, Bulgaria etc other overseas market and been praised by overseas clients.
