Yuchai will attach great importance to four market segments, the heavy-duty engine market, the medium engine market, the light engine market and the China III&IV emission standard engine market. For the medium engine market, Yuchai's main purpose is to maintain the current market share. As for the light engine segment, the company hopes to increase the sales of diesel engines for passenger cars, engines for large light trucks and tractor engines
Yuchai also plans to develop advanced diesel engines for high-grade buses and diesel engines for heavy trucks to compete with famous imported brands in reliability, service and technical design.
