As we all know that the automobile is such an integrated product, because it not only indicates the capability of the automaker, but also involves the supply chain of parts and service. “At the very beginning, we realized we had to focus our strategy on technology to create value and quality to win the market,” says Zhao Jingguang, Beiqi Foton's spokesman. “Therefore we can guarantee the quality of every new product from the headstream.”
According to statistics from Foton said its self-made parts account for just 10 to 20 percent of the whole vehicle. Hence, Foton insists on requiring its parts suppliers follow the ISO/TS16949 standard, which regulates the supply chain in the auto industry, to ensure the quality of every part of each vehicle. Besides the advanced equipment, Foton also sets up a perfect management system, which promises production system a highly efficient and veracious operation. Being a world brand is Foton’s next target.
