Scania has good performance on the first three months of this year. Operating margin rose to 16.4 percent and net margin increased to 11.4 percent. The net sales increased by 15 percent and net income for the period rose by 21 percent.
Scania is continuing to grow with strong profitability, primarily driven by higher vehicle and service volume and increased prices.Scania is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of trucks and buses for heavy transport applications, and of industrial and marine engines. Employing 35,000 people, Scania operates in about 100 countries.
