Many multinationals are all keen on setting up their new research centers in Shanghai, such as Tenneco, an American producer of automotive emission controls and suspension systems, Delphi, a global supplier of mobile electronics and transportation systems, Schaeffler Group from Germany, and South Korean tire maker Hankook.
Shanghai has excellent investment environment. It can help these companies to accelerate updating products and cut their costs effectively. At the same time, they can provide better services for customers in China.
