Recently, Sinopec and Dongfeng-Nissan signed an agreement to set up the strategic cooperation. Sinopec and Dongfeng-Nissan will work together to build an all-round strategic partnership and cooperate on the fuel, lubricant, resin, rubber and inspection and arbitration service to realize in-depth industrial chain connection of energy-motor industries. Serving the frontline of advanced motor technologies will quicken up Sinopec’s paces to cooperate with the international motor companies and help improve the energy giant’s capability in serving the motor industry and increasing its internationalization.

The cooperation is a tentative move for Sinopec to engage in trans-industry cooperation with the international motor companies. It is the first profound and strategic cooperative tie established between an energy company of China and a transnational motor company and will be of great significance to the energy industry and the motor industry of China.
