On 2 June, Dongfeng Bus Company, a subsidiary company of Dongfeng Motor Company Limited was founded in Shiyan, a local place, which is a new strategic goal built by Dongfeng and is also a very important step for expanding bus business field.

There were many leaders of Dongfeng participated in the opening ceremony, such as deputy manager of Dongfeng Motor ,Dong Dongcheng, and Hu Jianguo, general manager of Dongfeng Bus Company and etc.

Dongfeng Bus Company is said taking responsibility for products planning, development, purchasing, manufacturing, selling and after service of bus and bus chassis.

It was siad the new factory had put into production since November 2007.
