As the most professional and the biggest bus and coach exhibiton, Busworld is becoming more and more popular in the world, bringing a strom of exhibition around the world. Busworld is not a common exhibition, it shows profession, preparation, well effect and benefit to exhibitors and clients. On one hand, exhibitors present perfect vehicles, on the other hand, clients realize more information and can widen their eyes on more quality vehicles they need, which is win win.

The 8th edition of Busworld Asia was held in the New International Expo Centre in Pudong, Shanghai from 11-14 March. A total of 195 exhibitors occupied more than 30.000sq m of floor space. This is the fisrt time Busworld opened for four days compared with previous years, although overall numbers were down compared with 2007, exhibitors were delighted with the quality of visitors to their stands. Two of the largest manufacturers, Yutong and Kinglong stayed away, evidently because they had nothing new to launch. In addition, commitments for some new vehicles for the Beijing Olympics were made before Busworld Asia opened its doors. Next year will see further buying activity in preparation for the World Expo in Shanghai in 2010. There was certainly plenty of innovation at Busworld Asia. At least, ten Chinese manufacturers now offer high-capacity Bus Rapid Transit vehicles, usually articulated and with full low floor layouts. Some designs offer pessenger doors on both sides of the vehicle to facilitate rapid loading and uploading at special stations.

About one month later, the second edition of Busworld Turkey was held form 24-26 April in two bsy halls in the Expo Centre, close to Istanbul's main international airport. And there were 146 exhibitors and 11.351 visitors, including 970 from outside Turkey. Mercedes-Benz, BMC, Isuzu, Temsa and etc, which are very popular and they put forward some special vehicles, such as the biggest vehicle, 19.54 meters long articulated bus by Mercedes-Benz, a full low floor city bus by BMC, a 9 meters long frist entry Citymark midibus by Isuzu, Polish-built vehicles promoted by Solaris though Turkey is a strong domestic industy and etc. It was a great success in Busworld Turkey, it was reported the next edition will be held in 2010 and will be larger.

In Kortrijk, after the most successful-ever Busworld Kortrijk in 2007, floor area will be increased to more than 50.000sq m and organizer has already sold more than 30.000sq. It will be expected another successful-ever Busworld in 2009.

Another good news to bus and coach manufacturers, the board of BAAV, the parent of Busworld, has confirmed that the inaugural Busworld Brazil will be held in Sao Paulo in the first week of June 2009, lasting over three day peried in 20.000sq m hall.
