Very concerned, Shenlong new factory was put into use on 24 May, increasing capacity of Shenlong bus and coach, and problem of the quick development of Shenlong restricted was solved.

It was known that the new factory started to build in 2006, with 200,000sq areas, is a comprehensive factory location of technical development, complete vehicles and fittings producing, selling, service, personnel education, and has completed and put into use since May. Capacity of Shenlong is up to 10,000 vehicles per year and Shenlong will become the biggest in Shanghai and famous domestic bus and coach manufacturer.

Shenlong was founded in September 2005 with 2361 vehicles sales volume, equivalent to 800 million RMB, ranked top 20 of sales volume and top 12 of sales revenue in 2007, in additon, bus and coach exported reaches 500 vehicles, with value of 200 million RMB, and is ranked 8 in whole industry. Its order number has obtained 1600 vehicles from January to June 2008, up 86% compared with the same period in 2007, which is rare in China bus and coach industry.
