During the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, 34 Olympic Public Transport Lines are expected to be opened, these lines will link each venue and provide services to spectators. The Olympic Public Transport Lines will be divided into common lines and fast lines (K lines). Spectators who hold the Olympic tickets will takes these public transport buses, and subway free of charge.

According to introduction, there are 26 fast lines (K lines) and 8 common lines which said to be opened during the game period.

In addition, Beijing Subway will operated 24 hours for the first time in order to facilitate the travel audience.
