30 May, at Siberia Auto Exhibition which was held in Novosibrisk Russia, "European Star", Kinglong's XMQ6127 competed with some Russian buses and coaches on the same stage, finally, XMQ6127 defeated others and won the golden prize, which becomes a ture "European Star".

In August 2006, Kinglong's XMQ6127 series tourist coach acquired Certificate for the exemption from export inspection. In addition, the model is also the first which passes British VCA. On 12 May 2008, Kinglong also passed GOST of Russia, which means Kinglong would expand its business in Russia, wich an expected sales volume over 10 millions USD.
