The Auto Components Shanghai 2008 opened ceremoniously at Shanghai International Exhibition Center on June 2. The exhibition, which lasted for 3 days, was hosted by Shanghai Branch of China International Trade Promotion Committee together with the Society of Automotive Engineers of China, and undertaken by Shanghai International Exhibition Company, Ltd. and the German IMAG International Exhibition and Trade Fair Co. Ltd.

Over 350 Chinese and overseas companies participate in the exhibition where all kinds of products made by auto parts suppliers and related industries are on display, including various automobile parts and components, manufacturing equipment and related accessories, creating a new record high in terms of the exhibition scale and participating companies. Internationally renowned parts suppliers, such as Michelin YOKOHAMA, Dunlop, Advanti, NSK、Philips, have come to the exhibition with a large number of branded products.
