english.Chinabuses.com 2008-7-10

While "Higer 2008 Safety Course" activity is performing like a raging fire around the country, on 1 July, Higer happens another good news, its 12 meters long HIGER A80 coach successfully passes new European Rollover Test Standard according to new released (ECE)R66-01 rule by Europe Economy Committee, in Chongqing National Coach Quality Supervision and Test Centre.

It is known that the new standard is more strict and is the most adoptable and stringent rollover test standard, which is acceptable by major European countries, and it is also available in Middle East and Australia and etc.

The differences between old and new standard are in two aspects: one is to simulate coach driving situation for increasing vehicle load, and another is to lock suspension while it is testing for avoiding disturbance of absorber, in order to get exact data.

Because of procedure of rollover test is very complicated, which has a very high request of vehicle's structure and etc, Higer finally passes after many times of debuggings and A80 creates an angle of 39 degrees which is bigger than European standard 28 degrees.
