According to the statistics released by China Association of Automobiles Manufacturers, China bus sales hit 24,100 units in July, 2008, down 8.01% year-on-year, and the production and sale rate reaches 96.40%. Among main bus types, the sales of large, medium and light buses slash sharply. In July, 5,421 units large-sized buses, 4,086 units medium-sized buses and 14,608 units light buses had been sold.

From January to July this year, China has totally sold 200,OO2 buses, of which 36,300 units large-sized buses, 43,700 medium-sized buses and 120,002 units light buses.
