According the news from Beijing Automobile Works Co Ltd (Beijing Auto) reported that it has inked a series of cooperation agreement with the Qinghai provincial economic commission on building up a special-purpose vehicle production base in Qinghai, Northwest China's province.

On the cooperation agreement, a joint venture will be established between Beiqi Foton Motor Co Ltd and a local company to manufacture special-purpose vehicles. With an investment of RMB 250 million, the manufacturing plant is expected to set up in Qinghai in the near future and the annual capacity will reach 5,000 units and sales revenue will get to 1 billion Yuan.
