Hino has good development in recently years. The Hino Motors operation has become a key component in the multinational's global production network. Hino's sales and manufacturing companies have worked with their local partners to give it a market share of more than 70 per cent in buses in Indonesia. Due to its fast development in Asia, Hino also has plans to expand its production plant for light-duty buses. The new plan will produce chassis frames for buses that will run on environment-friendly compressed natural gas (CNG).

Hino’s biggest markets for bus spare parts and chassis frames in Asia are China's Taiwan Province, Thailand, Malaysia and Pakistan and its largest market for buses is Thailand, followed by Australia and Indonesia.
