The first new concept trolleybus has already been succeeded in developing jointly by 4 companies, including Shanghai Sunwin Buses Corporation and Shanghai buses Group, and it was exhibited at the eighth Shanghai industrial exposition. The new bus is equipped with the traction-used super capacitor assembly which is with the international most advanced level, and it still can run 3 kilometers with 40 kilometers of maximum speeds even in case of breaking away from the electric wire.

According to the introduction of expert that the output ability of super condenser assembly that this bus equips is great, and has superstrong electric energy storage ability, can finish the electric energy storage within ten minutes. Because the electric energy of the super condenser is stored in the active charcoal, so there is no secondary pollution. The expert in Shanghai emphasizes that the application of the super condenser on the urban trolleybus has set a precedent in the world.

The new-type trolleybus was exhibited at the eighth Shanghai industrial exposition; it will be appraised further by Shanghai State Scientific and Technological Commission, and then debug and small lot production, in a final step, it will be put into the test run.
