News from Tianjin transport department: since the beginning of this year the transport department had total replaced 678 new vehicles. Within the year after surplus 392 medium buses withdraw from the city road, there will be no medium buses in the center urban area.

It's reported that after Tianjin changed 500 new passenger buses on September 2002, the whole year of 2003 replaced 1158 and changed 678 new buses in the first half 2004. Made almost half passenger vehicles replaced. Presently ,the trade of Tianjin public transportation dominant by the style 8 to 10 meters.
