Compared with developed country, the Chinese passenger bus has already been close to the internatonal level in appearance , interior decorations and routine performance , but still has great disparity in noise performance , this shortage has influenced the bus comfortableness seriously.

According to report, the named " reseach and development of low bus noise " project has been set up the key reaserch subject by Xiamen municiple , the research project has getting 1 million yuan supports funds from municipal government .

The full name of AVL Company which cooperated with King-Long Compay, is Austrian AVL Liszt inner consuption engine and tests euipment institute, its a famous international compay with abudant experience in the vehicle noise researchment area.

At present, Xiamen King-Long has already signed the technological cooperative agreement on reducing noise including inside and outside the bus with AVL Company. The agreement request AVL company support the technology and analytical research work,both sides adopt the way to develop jointly .

It is reported , at the end of this year , the King-Long bus noise will be limited to 72 decibels in the bus and 83 decibels outside, lower than the standard of the country regulation.
