The 4th International Clean Vehicle Technology Exhibition, which was sponsored by nine departments including State Science and Technology Commission, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Construction and Ministry of Communication, opened at Beijing Agricultural Exhibition Centre on the morning of Nov 23.

Jifang Hybrid Coach

Four models of complete vehicle and seven models of engine from FAW Group debut at the Exhibition. It is the first time that FAW self-developed clean vehicles and energy-saving engines are displayed at such exhibition, which means the R & D level of self-developed vehicle approaching to a new stage, and symbolizes FAW Group making a new breakthrough in the aspect of hybrid, dual-fuel vehicle and top level energy-saving engine.

Clean vehicle, which adopts up-to-date technique of global automotive industry, has the priority to be developed according to "China Auto Industry Development Policy". Development of these products complies with the trend of China energy and environment protection strategy. Debut for the FAW Jiefang hybrid coach, Hongqi hybrid car, Vela, Xiali N3 dual-fuel car and seven models of engine attracts many visitors¡¯ attention, and arouses a strong reflection.

A high level forum was held at Great Hall of the People in the afternoon. More than 10 China and foreign well-known enterprise leaders, experts and scholars presented the forum and gave lectures. Zhu Yanfeng, president of FAW Group, made a speech about the development of clean energy-saving vehicle at the forum, and his prelection is high appraised by the audience.

It is reported that FAW's exhibited area covers a floor space of 405 square meters, and the theme for the exhibition is "caring for natural world, looking forward to future".
