The statistical from Sichuan Transport Department demonstrated that, during "the tenth five-year plan", the rural transport experienced a fast development, the entire province increased 6904 transport vehicles, 85% administration village of the whole province connected with auto vehicle, increased 13 per compared with the period of "the nineth five-year plan".

The rural passenger transportation is the focus point for Sichuan Transport Department construction during the period of "the tenth-five year plan". Only in 2005, the increment of the province reached 2050 auto bus, build the new transport station 370.

During the "eleventh-five year plan" period, Sichuan province will built 1700 new rural transport station, realized 90% village connected with auto vehicle, basically form the integration development between urban and rural area passenger transportation.
