BAAV Busworld Asia 2008 will be grandly opened on March 11, 2008 in Shanghai. Before the opening ceremony, members of ACW BAAV Awards Judgment are doing appraisal in process.
Members of jury committee are as follow: Sonja Vande Wiele, manager Asian Coach Week/BAAV Awards & Press Officer Busworld; Martial Benoot, coordinator ACW & head of training and formation programs for drivers; Cai Xianying, senior engineer Shanghai BA-SHI (Group) & deputy chief engineer; James Wang, professor of Chongqing Jiaotong University & editor in chief of China Buses and Coaches Yearbook; IR Pierre Pauwels, bus engineer and technical expert; Johan Lermytte, expert in bus marketing and aftersales; Jan Verhagen, expert in bus marketing and consultig; Mark D’Eigens, managing director European bus and coach company member of the board of Busworld; Zbigniew Rusak, technical journalist of AUTOBUSY & manager public transport of the city of Pozna (Poland-Europe); Gopalahkrishnan Kalidasan, technical journalist of MOTORINDIA; Hans Kuipers, technical journalist of CAR & Bus magazine; Bimal Ghosh, marketing manager Busworld India and Gilbert Depamelaere, head of training and formation of tour guides Europe.
There are twenty-one enterprises and thirty-seven latest products to compete 17 awards. The whole ACW BAAV Awards Judgment includes preparation meeting, ACW pre-announcement, ACW BAAV awards judgment and awards ceremony.
