On December of 2005, the total national output of medium bus reached 2988 units, the increase rate ot the cyclic increasing approach was 67.02%. The whole number of the first top ten bus enterprises reached 2850 medium buses, account for 95.38% of the industry total output.

According to the statistics, the first five medium bus enterpreses in turn is : Zhengzhou Yutong Group, Kinglong United Automotive Industry(Suzhou) Co., Ltd, Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd, Yazhong Yaxing Bus Share Holding Co., Ltd and Anhui Ankai Automotive Co., Ltd. the output separately is 1122, 915 , 190, 153 and 104.
