Zhengzhou Yutong Bus Co., Ltd and Shengzhen City Bus established the first Post doctor R&D Station in China in the end of 2005. This station is for the purpose of the "Fuel Economic Investigation".

According to the statistics, fuel occupied about 20 percent of the cost in city bus company. And also because of the uprising fuel price, how to improve the fuel management and controlling the fuel consumption are very urgent. At the same time, the emission of fuel consumption began to seriously effects the air and environment. This R&D Station is going to deeply investigate the key elements that have influences on the city bus fuel cost, and make the innovation on the city buses. The innovation will effectively releases the basic cost of city bus company, reduce emission and promote the environment protection.
