The 2006 China Chongqing international auto industry exhibition will be held in May in Chongqing, in southwest China.

The exhibition, co-organized by the China auto industry association and Chongqing Municipal Government, will be staged at the Chongqing international convention center from May 20 to 24.

With a theme of "discovering auto vogue", the exhibition has already confirmed the participation of more than 40 auto manufacturers.

Some manufacturers said they would bring their latest models to the exhibition.

A trade fair on auto parts and auto accessories will be held simultaneously with the exhibition.
