DAIMLERCHRYSLER AG plans to withdraw from its Yaxing-Benz Co joint venture in China, the report citing Till Becker, chairman and chief executive officer of German automaker's northeast Asia operations.

DaimlerChrysler is negotiating with its Chinese partner, Yaxing Group, to completely withdraw from the bus venture in which it holds a 50 percent stake.
