CHINA
will issue 10 policies to create a healthy business environment to support the
booming China automobile export industry, Xinhua news agency reported today.
Automobile exports have significantly increased in recent years and play an
important role in the country's export business, said Zhang Ji, deputy director-general
of the Electromechanical and Science and Technology Department of the Ministry
of Commerce. But the flourishing market also caused a lot of vicious competition.
The following 10 policies will help build a healthier environment in
the automobile export industry: *Setting up a public R&D platform
for auto export companies, especially for small and medium sized companies that
produce auto components; *Promoting credit insurance in auto export; *Raising
credit for more exports; *Exporting more domestic brand vehicles; *Developing
a strategic alliance between auto export companies and transportation companies;
*Promoting the mutual authentication between China and other countries; *Offering
more information to domestic auto companies; *Improving communication between
Chinese auto companies and foreign auto companies on auto components; *Setting
up a credit appraisal mechanism to protect intellectual property rights; *Raising
the export standard to regulate the market. Last year, China exported
176,239 units, 11,031 units more than it imported. It was the first time vehicle
exports surpassed imports in terms of volume in more than a decade. |
