ArvinMeritor
Inc. on Monday said it will open a new factory in China's Wuxi, Jiangsu province
that will initially manufacture trailer axles and suspensions for trailer-makers
in China as well as for export to North American and European plants.
Production
at the 300,000 square foot facility is estimated to begin in the first half of
2007. The facility will also make other drivetrain and brake components over time,
the company said.
