Yutong Bus got Certification of Exemption of I/E

On the afternoon of August, 18, in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, the leader of General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China rendered a golden sign board "National Exemption of I/E Commodities From Inspection", in an earnest manner, to Mr. TangYuxiang, president of Yutong Group. A solemn and grand ceremony was afterwards held for this unprecedented achievement. The tradition for more than fifty years was thus broken that China bus enterprises are far from the exemption of I/E Commodities From Inspection.

Certification of the export-inspection-exemption is an important measurement taken by General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China to facilitate the export and help promote those national brands with world-class quality, in other word, to make national brands the international ones. The certification is fully in line with the international conventions. The certified goods shall enjoy good reputation in international market; the qualification ratios during the export inspection shall for three successive years be 100%; the quality of the certified goods shall be very high. Thus someone makes a lively figure: the "National Exemption of I/E Commodities From Inspection" is a "Gold Card" for an enterprise's globalization.

"Certification of Exemption of I/E Commodities From Inspection" enterprise in automobile industry, Yutong Group lives up to its reputation. It is said that Yutong possesses the first postdoctoral workstation and the only national-level technological enter in China bus industry. 4% its sales revenue has been devoted to the research and development every year to improve the design of product. World advanced techniques and process flows adopted in the modernization production lines set a foundation for producing buses with high quality.

It is shown by the statistic data from China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products that 20,020 automobiles of China's own brands have been exported for the first half year of 2006, an increase of 466.8% compared with the same period of the last year. Yutong exported 972 buses at the said period, an increase of 112% compared with the same period of the last year, again taking the lead. At the first of this year, Yutong buses passed the roll-over test, their performances meet European standard ECE UN R66, some performances even outdid this standard; Yutong buses also passed the DOT certification of U.S.A., and were exported to U.S.A., ending the history that no China bus has ever exported to the market of U.S.A..

The backside of the subtle change of China's buses is to consider about its strategy of development, and its course of becoming a real international enterprise. A picture occurs to our mind that China is becoming the largest bus manufacture and distribution center.
