The
seventh China Yinchuan International Automobile and Motorcycle Tourism Festival
will take place from September 16 to 22, 2006 in Yinchuan, capital of Northwest
China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
The event is jointly sponsored
by the Yinchuan municipal government, the Federation of Automobile Sports of China,
the Chinese Motor Sports Association, Ningxia Tourism Administration and Ningxia
Administration of Sports.
According to the organizing committee, the
auto and motorcycle event is aimed at advocating an automobile culture.
Since
the first session was held in 2000, the annual event has attracted a large number
of tourists.
