Mr.
Tang Yuxiang, president of Yutong Group, welcomes Santana's delegation at airport
afternoon of Oct. 19. Vice Governor of Henan Province, Mr. Shi Jichun meets with
the guests at the Provincial Government Hall, with Vice Mayor of Zhengzhou, Mr.
Hu Quan, present. Shi says Yutong is the best bus maker in China, also one of
the most outstanding enterprises in Henan. Cooperation between Cuba and Yutong
is correct and a success. By its sound system and management, Yutong brings together
a good many technological talents from Chinese bus makers. Top intellectuals plus
strict management ensures Yutong's high quality. Yutong setting up CKD factory
in Cuba is part of its go-out strategy encouraged by Provincial Government. He
heartedly thanks Cuba guests for their trust and support.
Santana says
Yutong staff's earnest attitude towards work and good quality of Yutong's buses
make them confident in their option. Cuba leaders as a whole, including Chairman
Castro, attach great significance to the bilateral cooperation. Under the joint
efforts, the CKD factory in Cuba runs much smoothly. Yutong buses not only run
on streets of Cuba, but to other Latin America countries as well.

Mr. Tang briefs Yutong's profile, both parties widely communicate ideas about
CKD factory in Cuba and reach an agreement to further the technological training
Cuba workers and staff members. Some of them are to be deployed to Yutong trained
to improve product quality.
