FIRST Automotive Works Group, China's largest car maker, has reported its sales topped one million units for the first 11 months of 2006 on high sales of its two joint ventures and new models.

Changchun-based FAW sold 1.05 million units from January to November, up 21.6 percent from a year earlier.
