VEHICLE sales in China will rise to more than eight million in 2007, citing Jiang Lei, an official with China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

China will be the world's third-largest automaker by the end of this month, after the United States and Japan, surpassing Germany, Xinhua reported. China sold 6.45 million vehicles in the first 11 months, a 25.5 % increase on a year earlier, it said.
