On
April 24 HIGER BUS Company Limited. (Suzhou)
entered into an agreement with the BOCOG Sailing
Committee (Qingdao) to manufacture and deliver
20 Higer Buses to Qingdao before July 25 for
one month's service during the 2007 Qingdao
International Regatta.

The
sponsored 20 Higer bus consists of 12 large
45-seat coaches and eight middle 33-seat coaches,
which will be employed mainly for one month's
transportation service for the regatta, including
pick-up, delivery, regular bus service, etc.
The model takes the same one that Higer Bus
provided for the 15th Doha Asian Games last
year.

Ming, executive director of HIGER United Automotive
Industry (Suzhou) Co., Ltd expressed at the
signing ceremony: "HIGER BUS will become
the cooperative partner of the Sailing Committee
(Qingdao) of the Beijing Organizing Committee
for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad. When the
Higer coach has been crowned as the officially
appointed vehicle for 2007 Qingdao International
Regatta, it indicates that the BOCOG Sailing
Committee (Qingdao) has not only acknowledged
the Higer coach, but also entrusted HIGER BUS
Company Limited . with the important responsibility
to fully serve the sailing matches of Olympic
Games and ensure its smooth running."
Covering
an area of 500,000 m2, HIGER BUS Company Limited
(Suzhou) owns a modern coach manufacturing facility
and can complete annual volume of 18,000 coaches
and chassis, as one of largest bus manufacturing
base in china
At
the end of last year, a total of 500 Higer coaches
were delivered to serve the ever grand 15th
Doha Asia Games and it was the first of its
kind that the Chinese buses were employed to
serve the international large-scale matches,
which has been widely acknowledged by the customers
and the organizer. A contract of 360 coaches
was awarded soon after and the reputation of
Chinese coach has been established home and
abroad. In doing so, HIGER BUS had gained also
valuable experience in service of international
large-scale sports matches
Numerous
honored guests from home and abroad will visit
and attend the 2007 Qingdao International Regatta,
which may include international sports organizations,
yachting associations, world top 500 enterprises,
and yachting teams, which has brought forward
higher requirements for the transportation service
and vehicles thereof.
Mr.
Zang Aimin, vice mayor, a member of standing
committee of the Qingdao Municipal Government
and the executive vice chairman of sailing committee
remarked at the signing ceremony:
