Two
cities in China Zhejiang Province will establish
auto parts procurement centers. The Ningbo spare
parts center is located in the Ningbo International
Auto Town, which already has more than 200 auto-related
companies from home and abroad.
The
Ningbo city government invested 500 million
yuan (US$65.21 million) into the 100,000-square-meter
International Auto Town, which has been selected
by the All-China Federation of Industry and
Commerce as a global auto parts procurement
center. The Ningbo auto town will open its doors
in June.
The
first-phase project at the Hangzhou International
Auto Parts Procurement Center will be completed
in April next year. The plan is to attract international
vehicle and spare parts makers and auto dealers.
After it is constructed, the Hangzhou auto parts
center will become a distribution and logistics
center.
