At
the "ComTrans-2007" exhibition GC
"Rusbusinessauto" together with HIGER
Company representatives held a conference in
connection with the launching the sale of a
new lineup of HIGER buses in Russia.
At
the conference, representatives of HIGER Company
and GC "Rusbusinessauto" told about
a builder of HIGER buses, bus production techniques,
HIGER plans regarding the Russian market in
detail.
Thus,
Andrey Antonovich Zubovich (GC "Rusbusinessauto"
Managing Director) explained the criteria of
HIGER factory choice in 2004 as a bus supplier
in Russia: modern equipment, broad spectrum
of models, readiness to make changes in a bus
design and cooperation with Russia.
HIGER
Company Managing Director Mr. Wu wenwen noted
about a substantial improvement of the situation
in Russia in the sphere of public conveyances
and tourist field, told about HIGER latest achievements:
collaboration in technical cooperation with
Scania, significant export increase and about
new awards received. Mr. Wu wenwen also stated
that in the nearest future HIGER was planning
to send those skilled in HIGER bus maintenance
support for a permanent residence in Russia.
HIGER
Operational Director Mr. Qiu Feng spoke in detail
about production techniques. He announced that
their company had got ISO/TS16949 Certificate,
and fully described plant capacity. Thus, briefly,
the plant is subdivided into 5 manufacturing
departments: the first one is a welding shop,
second ¨C painting shop, third ¨C general
assembly shop, fourth ¨C chassis production
shop, fifth ¨C spare parts store.
A
lineup formed for the Russian market was represented
by HIGER Sales Manager in Russia Andrey Aleksandrovich
Panferov. Thus, it became known that a lineup
would consist of seven HIGER buses: from city
buses to tourist buses of compact, subcompact
and full size buses. Panferov A.A. reported
on steps taken to adapt to the Russian conditions
and pointed out that the lineup was certified
in Russia.
The
issue of support manning was actively discussed.
According to Panferov A.A. backup and post-warranty
services of HIGER buses will be provided by
their own federal service center network GC
"Rusbusinessauto". There will be certified
local operative technical centers in cities
where GC ¡°Rusbusinessauto¡±
does not have their own technical stations.
