Recently,
led by Mr. Liang Bao Hua, Governor of Jiangsu
Province, Jiangsu Enterprises Delegation held
"Sino-EU Jiangsu Economic Cooperation Forum"
in Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, presented
by around 600 guests from each member country
of EU. Mr. Xu Lian Kuan, President of Zonda
Group, Attended the Successful Jiangsu Business
Week 2007 in EU. In order to enhance the economic
communication and deepen the cooperation among
enterprises from EU countries and Jiangsu Province,
many business leaders from large-scaled enterprisers
participated in this visit, including Nanjing
Automobile Corporation, Bank of Jiangsu, Jiangsu
Hi-tech Investment Group, Zonda Industrial Group..
This Forum aims to push forward the business
relationship between EU and Jiangsu Province,
to explore new cooperation domains, and to accelerate
the introduction of advanced technology, management
experience and high-quality human assets. In
the meanwhile, it also strives to encourage
Jiangsu enterprises to go out and develop their
business in EU, which will achieve bilateral
success through cooperation.

Becomes Jiangsu's Biggest Trade Partner and
Further Pushes of the Business Relationship
The
European Union and China have a thriving relationship
that has expanded enormously in recent years.
In 2004, European Union had overtaken America
and Japan as China's biggest trade partner while
China became the EU's second biggest trade partner.
Following the rapid growth of bilateral trade,
European companies are major investors in China.
From the year of 2005 on, EU also became the
biggest trade partner of Jiangsu Province.

Automobile Industry from Jiangsu Province Became
the Hot Spot in the " 2007 EU Jiangsu Business
Week
As
one of the most important events during the
"2007 Jiangsu- EU Economic Week",
MGs, owned by Najing Automobile Corporation
(NAC), launch the production line to signal
the revival of Longbridge. Guests from UK, China
and EU all witnessed this historical moment
and complimented that, NAC deserves praise for
their commitment to make the production of MGs
happen in UK once again."
Many
local automobile enterprises in Jiangsu have
successively made some big movements to build
up a top-level automobile manufacturing base,
integrating sedans, commercial vehicles and
heavy-duty trucks. Zonda bus rose as a new star
in China automotive industry through yeas' development.
It has launched the innovative ideas of "pricing
transparency", "10-year warranty for
bus beams", "Quality 220 Initiative"
and many other campaigns to improve its products
and after-sale services, Its products have been
exported to more than 30 countries, including
Jordan, Egypt, USA and Syria. In addition, Zonda
have signed strategic partnership agreements
with its partners in Russia, Vietnam and Turkey,
pacing up the strategy of "go abroad"
and accelerating its globalization process.
In
current stage, China automotive industry needs
to improve its strategy of "go abroad"
and maximize its international market share,
in order to grow stronger. Mr. Xu Lian Kuan,
President of Zonda Group, pointed out that,
independant R & D and cooperation through
joint venture are two major ways to develop
China's automobile industry. At present, we
will focus on learning and innovation by acquiring
world-class brands, in order to explore another
way to create a completely internationalized
brand, and to create a new chapter of partnership,
mutual benefits and win-win in Jiangsu's automobile
industry.
