The
first China International Auto Parts Expo is
to be held in Beijing from November 29 to December
1, the Ministry of Commerce said yesterday.
The
expo, co-organized by multinational carmakers
including General Motors and some international
associations, aims to be a platform for the
export and import of car parts for manufacturers
in China and other countries.
China
has the third-largest auto-making business in
the world. The export of whole auto vehicles
and auto parts reached $15.8 billion in 2006,
up 45 percent on the previous year.
