held the BRT(Bus Rapid Transit ) summit in Xiamen
July 28,2007. The topics of this batch summit
are High Efficiency, Environmental Friend, and
Win-win Situation. The City Vehicle Committee
of Ministry of Construction's experts, the BRT
Committee of China Public Transport Association
professors, China Road Academy's professors,
Beijing Bus Ltd, Hangzhou Bus Ltd, Xiamen Bus
Ltd, Shenzhen Bus Ltd, Shanghai Bus Ltd, Tianjin
Bus Ltd, Jinan Bus Ltds'managers take part in
the summit, meanwhile, Australia bus experts
and King Long United Automotive's engineers
exchange their ideas and discuss the development
of China's BRT.
Mr.
Shihuang Jiang, the GM of King Long United Automotive,
gave a lecture in the summit. Mr.Jiang said
the function of this summit is the promotion
of high efficiency, environmental-friendly concepts
and BRT technology development. He hoped further
development of China public transport through
holding this summit.
